Makeover mania!
The annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner was surprisingly just as much about new hairstyles as it was about President Barack Obama‘s standup routine. Michelle Obama and Idina Menzel both debuted makeovers at the event on Saturday, April 25, at the Washington Hilton hotel in Washington, D.C.
The First Lady, 51, switched up her usual routine of wearing a sleek and straight look by adding tight ringlets to her brown tresses. Obama’s new hairstyle looked elegant paired up with her steel gray Zac Posen gown and alluring teardrop earrings.

Meanwhile, Menzel finally presented her new blonde color on the red carpet after unveiling it on Instagram back in March. Menzel, 43, wore her honey locks in loose waves with a pink and red Monique Lhuillier gown, Brian Atwood shoes, Jacob & Co jewels, and a Judith Leiber clutch.
The lighter hair color is a stark change from her trademark brown tresses that the Frozen star is known for. “Look what me and my girl @jtfrancuk did today. Needed a change. Loving it! #brunettetoblonde #blondehairdontcare,” she captioned a shot via Instagram on March 19.
